The Highland Hornets basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Valencia Jaguars to 35 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Pius X for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23.

The Jaguars (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles enter the contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Belen was routed by Grants (Grants, NM), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
