Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Pilgrim knocks off Ponaganset

The Pilgrim Patriots ice hockey squad scored 9 points and restricted the visiting Ponaganset Chieftains to 3 in the Patriots non-league victory on Tuesday.
With the victory, Pilgrim moves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to face the Sentinels in a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 21. The Sentinels go into the contest with a record of 4-4.
The Chieftains now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Johnston for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 24.
