United South Panthers (Laredo, TX) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Eagle Pass Eagles (Eagle Pass, TX), 3-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers confront the Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX) in a 6A Region 4 District 30 challenge, on Friday, February 23. United South will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 5-0 league loss to United (Laredo, TX).

The Eagles now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alexander for a 6A Region 4 District 30 challenge on Wednesday, February 28.
