In Tuesday's league battle, the host South Grand Prairie Warriors soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Sam Houston Texans.
The Warriors (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Gophers enter the 6A Region 1 District 8 bout with a 13-2 record. In their last bout, Grand Prairie tipped Bowie (Arlington, TX), 2-1, in a league bout.
