Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Canutillo Eagles (Canutillo, TX), 25-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clint for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22. Ysleta will battle a Lions squad coming off a 18-7 non-league win over Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Lions record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Canutillo falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Franklin (El Paso, TX) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Franklin won 13-2 in their recent league challenge against Coronado (El Paso, TX)
