The Florence Eagles softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Clinton Arrows to 10 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Florence moves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Eagles host Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league game on Thursday, February 22. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 2-1.

In their next game, the Arrows clash with the West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 23. Clinton will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Hurricanes come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Purvis (Purvis, MS).
