With the triumph, Neshoba Central moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Rockets host South Jones (Ellisville, MS) to clash with the Braves in a non-league game on Friday, February 23. The Braves come into the game with a record of 3-2. South Jones won 6-3 in their recent non-league game against Stringer (Stringer, MS)

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Southeast Lauderdale Tigers (Meridian, MS) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 22. Union will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS).
