The Elizabeth Bulldogs baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Ville Platte Bulldogs to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Plainview for a non-league test on Thursday, February 20. Elizabeth will play a Hornets team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Rapides (Lecompte, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Ville Platte drops to 0-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
