The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Brick Memorial Mustangs (Brick, NJ) and the visiting Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ), observed Brick Memorial's basketball team edge Neptune by a margin of 49-42.
The Mustangs (9-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Ewing (Trenton, NJ). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Ewing edged Lawrence (Lawrenceville, NJ), 60-52, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Scarlet Fliers battle the Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 26. Neptune will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 20-6 record after their 46-39 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, NJ).
