The Calhoun Warriors basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Griggsville-Perry Tornadoes to 43 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.
The Warriors now possess a 21-9 record. They play next when they travel to Roxana for a non-league game on Friday, February 21. Calhoun will play a Shells team coming off a 53-30 league win over Salem (Salem, IL). The Shells record now stands at 14-16.
With the loss, Griggsville-Perry falls to 13-18 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Edinburg (Edinburg, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, February 24. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 24-3. Edinburg won 57-50 in their recent non-league game against Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL)
