Maryland High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge fells Clear Spring

February 20, 2025: Frostburg, MD 21532

The Mountain Ridge Miners basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Clear Spring Blazers to 62 in the Miners non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Miners now possess a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Keyser for a non-league game on Saturday, February 22. Mountain Ridge will confront a Golden Tornado team coming off a 74-72 non-league loss to Petersburg (Petersburg, WV). The Golden Tornado record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Clear Spring falls to 2-19 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Allegany (Cumberland, MD) to confront the Campers in a non-league game on Monday, February 24. The Campers go into the game with a record of 9-12. Allegany lost 82-77 in their recent non-league game against Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD)
