Nebraska High School Basketball - Columbus tipped by Grand Island

The Grand Island Islanders got by the host Columbus Discoverers basketball squad by a final score of 54-47 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Islanders clash with the Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE) in a non-league outing, on Friday, February 21. Grand Island will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Storm come into the outing with a 6-14 record after their 80-69 non-league loss to Westview (Omaha, NE).

The Discoverers (5-17) will now prepare for their outing against Bryan (Omaha, NE). The Bears come into the non-league outing with a 0-22 record. In their last outing, Bryan was nipped by Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE), 80-61, in a league outing.
