Illinois High School Basketball - Elmwood holds off Stark County

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Elmwood Trojans basketball team scored a close 39-32 triumph over the Stark County Rebels.
The Trojans (14-14) will now prepare for their contest against ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 11-19 record. In their last contest, ROWVA/Williamsfield nipped DePue (DePue, IL), 73-61, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rebels confront the Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes (Abingdon, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 24. Stark County will attempt to better on its 8-19 season record. The Tornadoes go into the contest with a 17-12 record after their 45-30 non-league win over Princeville (Princeville, IL).
