The Solon Comets (Solon, OH) basketball edged the visiting Hudson Explorers (Hudson, OH), 70-68 in Thursday's league bout.
The Comets now possess a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 25. Solon will play a Beavers team coming off a 76-53 non-league loss to Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH). The Beavers record now stands at 15-7.
With the loss, Hudson falls to 6-16 on the campaign. The Explorers travel to North Olmsted (North Olmsted, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 25. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-16. North Olmsted won 58-39 in their recent league bout against Valley Forge (Parma Heights, OH)
