The Sturgis Brown Scoopers basketball team scored 85 points and limited the visiting Rapid City Central Cobblers to 81 in the Scoopers league triumph on Thursday.
The Scoopers now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Belle Fourche for a non-league game on Saturday, February 22. Sturgis Brown will play a Broncs team coming off a 85-46 non-league loss to Wall (Wall, SD). The Broncs record now stands at 3-14.
With the loss, Rapid City Central falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Cobblers travel to Douglas (Box Elder, SD) to play the Patriots in a AA game on Friday, February 21. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 5-14. Douglas lost 50-48 in their recent league game against Spearfish (Spearfish, SD)
