In Thursday's league contest, the visiting St. Ignace Saints basketball team scored a big 65-33 triumph over the Brimley Bays.
The Saints (20-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, St. Mary smashed St. Francis (Traverse City, MI), 43-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bays confront the Alanson Vikings (Alanson, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 25. Brimley will attempt to better on its 12-9 season record.
