The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) and the host Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA), observed Oakton's basketball team knock off Chantilly by a score of 41-33.

The Cougars (20-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Wildcats come into the District 1 challenge with a 20-3 record. In their last challenge, Centreville prevailed over James Madison (Vienna, VA), 57-20, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Chantilly will attempt to improve on its 16-7 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 56-45 league loss to Langley (McLean, VA).
