The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Edwards-Knox Cougars (Russell, NY) and the host Heuvelton Central Bulldogs (Heuvelton, NY), observed Edwards-Knox's basketball team knock off Heuvelton Central by a score of 51-42.
The Cougars (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hammond Central (Hammond, NY). The Red Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Hammond Central prevailed over Hermon-DeKalb Central (DeKalb Junction, NY), 38-30, in a non-league challenge.
