Kansas High School Basketball - Rawlins County triumphant over Golden Plains

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Rawlins County Buffaloes (Atwood, KS) and the visiting Golden Plains Bulldogs (Rexford, KS), observed Rawlins County's basketball team overwhelm Golden Plains by a score of 54-23.

The Buffaloes (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Dighton (Dighton, KS). The Hornets come into the Northwest Kansas challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Dighton trounced Triplains/Brewster (Brewster, KS), 78-23, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Chase Kats (Chase, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 24. Golden Plains will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Kats come into the challenge with a 0-20 record after their 68-23 non-league loss to Western Plains (Ransom, KS).
