Vermont High School Basketball - Green Mountain knocks off Woodstock

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Green Mountain Chieftains basketball team scored a good 42-22 win over the Woodstock Wasps.
The Chieftains (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Arlington Memorial was topped by Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Rutland, VT), 32-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wasps battle the Bellows Falls Terriers (Bellows Falls, VT) in a Marble Valley - C contest, on Monday, February 24. Woodstock will attempt to better on its 4-16 season record. The Terriers come into the contest with a 12-4 record after their 53-47 non-league loss to Hartford (White River Junction, VT).
