Illinois High School Basketball - Hononegah holds off Guilford

February 20, 2025: Rockton, IL 61072

The Hononegah Indians basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Guilford Vikings to 43 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now have a 20-13 record. They play next when they travel to Libertyville for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. Hononegah will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 59-35 non-league win over Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 27-5.

With the loss, Guilford falls to 26-7 on the campaign.
