In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Hoonah Braves basketball team scored a good 18-8 triumph over the Hydaburg Warriors.
The Braves (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Angoon (Angoon, AK). The Eagles go into the 1A Southeast contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Angoon was topped by Kake (Kake, AK), 50-22, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Klawock Chieftains (Klawock, AK) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 20. Hydaburg will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Chieftains go into the contest with a 9-12 record after their 23-13 non-league win over Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ).
