Vermont High School Basketball - Long Trail routs Proctor

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Long Trail basketball team scored a big 57-16 win over the Proctor Phantoms.
The (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT). The Wildcats come into the Freelance contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Twin Valley was trounced by Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Rutland, VT), 42-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Phantoms battle the Sharon Academy Phoenix (Sharon, VT) in a Freelance contest, on Saturday, February 22. Proctor will attempt to better on its 0-17 season record. The Phoenix come into the contest with a 3-16 record after their 48-26 league loss to Poultney (Poultney, VT).
