Georgia High School Lacrosse - Effingham County overwhelms South Effingham

February 20, 2025: Guyton, GA 31312

The Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) lacrosse routed the host South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA), 15-5 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Rebels now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Academic Magnet for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 26.

With the loss, South Effingham falls to 0-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC) to face the Swampcats in a non-league outing on Saturday, February 22. The Swampcats go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Laurence Manning Academy lost 12-5 in their recent league outing against Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC)
