Texas High School Baseball - Dalhart nips Guymon

The Dalhart Wolves baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Guymon Tigers to 7 in the Wolves non-league win on Friday.

The Wolves now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sunray for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 24. Dalhart will play a Bobcats team coming off a 24-1 non-league win over Sudan (Sudan, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Guymon drops to 0-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Guthrie (Guthrie, OK) to battle the Bluejays in a 5A District 1 outing on Monday, March 2. The Bluejays come into the test with a record of 0-0.
