Florida High School Baseball - Sunlake nips River Ridge

In Friday's non-league match, the host Sunlake Seahawks baseball squad scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the River Ridge Royal Knights.

With the triumph, Sunlake advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Seahawks travel to Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL) to battle the Bulls in a 6A District 9 match on Tuesday, February 24. The Bulls come into the match with a record of 2-3. Wiregrass Ranch lost 11-7 in their recent league match against Land O' Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL)

The Royal Knights now have a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mitchell for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 24. River Ridge will play a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Seminole (Seminole, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-4.
