The Hancock Bulldogs topped the visiting Houghton Gremlins basketball team by a final score of 37-26 in Monday's league game.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the L'Anse Purple Hornets (L'Anse, MI) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 24. Hancock will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record. The Purple Hornets enter the game with a 9-10 record after their 35-26 league win over Jeffers (Painesdale, MI).
With the defeat, Houghton moves to 15-4 on the year. The Gremlins host Ontonagon (Ontonagon, MI) to face the Gladiators in a non-league game on Thursday, February 24. The Gladiators enter the game with a record of 12-7. Ontonagon lost 49-44 in their recent league game against Wright (Ironwood, MI)
