    The Alma Panthers basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Swan Valley Vikings to 55 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

    The Panthers now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frankenmuth for a Tri-Valley - East contest on Friday, February 24. Alma will battle a Eagles team coming off a 52-29 league win over Birch Run (Birch Run, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 11-8.

    The Vikings (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Freeland (Freeland, MI). The Falcons enter the Tri-Valley - East contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Freeland ran past Glenn (Bay City, MI), 54-48, in a league contest.
