Kansas High School Basketball - Augusta knocked off by McPherson

The McPherson Bullpups basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Augusta Orioles to 41 in the Bullpups non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bullpups now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mulvane for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 23. McPherson will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 44-39 non-league loss to Buhler (Buhler, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-12.

The Orioles (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Winfield (Winfield, KS). The Vikings enter the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail III contest with a 3-16 record. In their last contest, Winfield was defeated by Circle (Towanda, KS), 72-41, in a non-league contest.
