In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Bland County Bears basketball team scored a good 64-52 triumph over the Narrows Green Waves.
In their next game, the Bears face the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 21. Bland County will attempt to advance on its 18-10 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 20-8 record after their 55-52 non-league loss to George Wythe (Wytheville, VA).
The Green Waves now own a 20-6 record.
