The Middletown Islanders basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Rogers Vikings to 44 in the Islanders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Islanders now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 23. Middletown will battle a Lions team coming off a 62-43 non-league loss to Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Lions record now stands at 16-4.
