Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR), 49-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Nettleton upgrades its record to 21-6 on the season. The Raiders host Searcy (Searcy, AR) to play the Lions in a 5A East bout on Friday, February 24. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 16-13. Searcy won 77-63 in their recent league bout against Batesville (Batesville, AR)

Next up, the Blazers play the Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) in a 5A East bout, on Thursday, February 23. Valley View will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 23-6 record after their 63-44 league win over Paragould (Paragould, AR).
