The Mankato East Cougars (Mankato, MN) basketball crushed the host Albert Lea Tigers (Albert Lea, MN), 86-59 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (16-7) will now prepare for their test against St. Peter (St. Peter, MN). The Saints go into the AAA Section 2 test with a 14-7 record. In their last test, St. Peter walloped Waseca (Waseca, MN), 56-38, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 3-20 record.
