Kansas High School Basketball - Anderson County can't hold off Santa Fe Trail

The Anderson County Bulldogs basketball team (Garnett, KS), was nipped 59-55 in Tuesday's non-league match with the visiting Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS)

In their next game, the Chargers meet the Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 23. Santa Fe Trail will attempt to better on its 17-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 6-14 record after their 46-29 non-league win over Wellsville (Wellsville, KS).

With the defeat, Anderson County moves to 13-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host Burlington (Burlington, KS) to meet the Wildcats in a Pioneer match on Thursday, February 23. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 9-10. Burlington won 44-42 in their recent non-league match against Council Grove (Council Grove, KS)
