The Athens Indians basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Bellevue Broncos to 16 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Philip Catholic Central for a Southern Central contest on Thursday, February 23. Athens will battle a Fighting Tigers team coming off a 78-45 league loss to Colon (Colon, MI). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 11-9.

The Broncos (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI). The Panthers enter the Southern Central contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Climax-Scotts was routed by Galesburg-Augusta (Galesburg, MI), 33-26, in a non-league contest.
