Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN), 77-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Centennial upgrades its record to 16-10 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Andover (Andover, MN) to play the Huskies in a AAAA Section 7 bout on Thursday, February 23. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 13-11. Andover won 56-38 in their recent non-league bout against Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Rogers Royals (Rogers, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 23. Coon Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 2-23 season record. The Royals come into the bout with a 17-6 record after their 52-47 league win over Elk River (Elk River, MN).
