In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Coppell Cowboys basketball team scored a tight 43-39 triumph over the South Grand Prairie Warriors.
In their next game, the Cowboys meet the Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 24. Coppell will attempt to move on its 36-3 season record. The Dragons enter the match with a 31-3 record after their 55-51 non-league win over North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX).
With the defeat, South Grand Prairie moves to 27-7 on the year.
