Michigan High School Basketball - Hastings can't hold off Pennfield

The Pennfield Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Hastings Saxons to 53 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest for a Interstate 8 contest on Friday, February 24. Pennfield will battle a Mounties team coming off a 49-32 league win over Marshall (Marshall, MI). The Mounties record now stands at 18-2.
The Saxons (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Marshall (Marshall, MI). The Redhawks come into the Interstate 8 contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Marshall was nudged by Northwest (Jackson, MI), 49-32, in a league contest.
