The Meridian Mustangs topped the visiting William Monroe Dragons basketball team by a final score of 47-33 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 24. Meridian will attempt to move on its 23-1 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 19-5 record after their 57-44 non-league win over Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA).
With the defeat, William Monroe moves to 15-9 on the year.
