Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR), 49-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Nettleton upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Raiders host Searcy (Searcy, AR) to clash with the Lions in a 5A East bout on Saturday, February 25. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 15-13. Searcy won 58-51 in their recent league bout against Batesville (Batesville, AR)

Next up, the Blazers clash with the Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) in a 5A East bout, on Friday, February 24. Valley View will attempt to upgrade on its 8-16 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 11-16 record after their 44-39 league win over Paragould (Paragould, AR).
