Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA), 7-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bears confront the Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, February 24. Pierce County will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 7-1 league loss to Brantley County (Nahunta, GA).

The Bulldogs now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brantley County for a 2A Region 3 challenge on Friday, February 24. Toombs County will confront a Herons team coming off a 7-1 league win over Vidalia (Vidalia, GA). The Herons record now stands at 3-2.
