Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Conroe Tigers (Conroe, TX), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildkats confront the Grand Oaks Grizzlies (Spring, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 13 challenge, on Friday, February 24. Willis will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 7-0 league win over Caney Creek (Conroe, TX).

The Tigers now have a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host The Woodlands for a 6A Region 2 District 13 challenge on Friday, February 24.
