In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Smithson Valley Rangers soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Tivy Antlers.
The Rangers (16-0) will now prepare for their battle against Seguin (Seguin, TX). The Matadors come into the 5A Region 4 District 26 battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, Seguin was nudged by Pieper (San Antonio, TX), 9-0, in a league battle.
The Antlers (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Cougars come into the 5A Region 4 District 26 battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Canyon nudged Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX), 5-2, in a league battle.
