The West Marion Trojans softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Columbia Wildcats to 1 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, West Marion moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to East Marion (Columbia, MS) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, February 27. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 28. Columbia will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
