Next, the Rebels confront the Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA) in a 1A D-II Area 2 challenge, on Friday, February 24. Atkinson County will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 4-1 league win over Turner County (Ashburn, GA).

The Yellow Jackets now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Bulloch for a 4A Area 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Wayne County will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-4.
