Aliso Niguel Wolverines (Aliso Viejo, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverines now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Yorba Linda for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 28.

In their next game, the Chargers play the Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 23. El Toro will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Barons come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA).
