Little River Academy Bumblebees (Little River Academy, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bumblebees now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moody for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23.

With the loss, Chaparral falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Johnson City (Johnson City, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, February 24. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 3-5. Johnson City lost 8-2 in their recent non-league contest against Comfort (Comfort, TX)
