The Sachse Mustangs softball team scored 27 runs and limited the host Lakeview Centennial Patriots to 1 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Sachse moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Wakeland (Frisco, TX) to play the Wolverines in a non-league game on Thursday, February 23. The Wolverines come into the game with a record of 4-1. Wakeland won 10-1 in their recent non-league game against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX)

With the loss, Lakeview Centennial falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Diamond Hill-Jarvis (Fort Worth, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-5.
