In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Fairmont Senior Polar Bears basketball team scored a good 68-49 triumph over the Bridgeport Indians.

In their next game, the Polar Bears meet the Charleston Catholic Irish (Charleston, WV) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 24. Fairmont Senior will attempt to move on its 20-1 season record. The Irish enter the match with a 18-3 record after their 55-48 non-league win over Poca (Poca, WV).

With the defeat, Bridgeport moves to 16-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV) to meet the Eagles in a Big Ten match on Friday, February 23. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 9-11.
