The Brooklyn Center Centaurs basketball team (Brooklyn Center, MN), was overwhelmed 87-39 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN)
The Spartans now possess a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbia Heights for a AAA Section 4 battle on Thursday, February 22. Richfield will confront a Hylanders team coming off a 93-86 non-league win over Fridley (Fridley, MN). The Hylanders record now stands at 17-6.
The Centaurs (2-21) will now prepare for their battle against Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 11-12 record. In their last battle, Robbinsdale Cooper trounced Kennedy (Bloomington, MN), 66-50, in a league battle.
